A Brake Van by Alan Eccles
The brake van body is entirely
scratch built on an Accucraft Lynton and Barnstable wagon
chassis. A nice addition to a rake of L & B wagons.

A Snowplough by Tom Smith
This freelance snowplough is
based loosely on one used by the DR and the Harz mountain
railway here in Germany. The chassis is from a LGB starter
set cement mixer and stripped everything off to the decking.
Everything else is made from brass sheet and soldered.

The plastic wheel
sets have been replaced with LGB pickup axles and the intention
is to provide direct lighting for the lamps and for the internal
lights. The project was started in late winter and I will
have to wait until next winter to test with real snow!
Only hand tools and a vice were used as I have no bending bars
or other specialist tooling.
